Your First Visit:

Patient Forms

Upon entering our office, our receptionist will welcome you and ensure that you have everything that you need to feel comfortable. We kindly request that you complete our new patient forms, before coming to your initial appointment. This paperwork provides us with your health history and information on your condition.

Consultation

Next, you will have a thorough consultation with your Chiropractor to discuss your health-related problems, concerns, and potential treatment options. This initial visit is designed for your Chiropractor to learn more about you, your condition, and your expectations which will determine how our care can meet your goals.

Examination

After your consultation, your Chiropractor will perform a complete examination testing your posture, range of motion, structure, nerve function, reflexes and flexibility. Other standard neurological, orthopedic, postural, and physical tests will be performed as well. However, nothing  will be done in our examination process without your consent.

X-Ray Studies

X-Rays are rarely necessary, as our Chiropractor has a wealth of knowledge and experience. We will only recommend that an x-ray be taken if there is a valid clinical reason for doing so.

Your Second Visit:

Report of Findings

Once the information is collected  and examinations are performed, your Spine & Wellness Specialist will give you a detailed report of all findings and answer any questions including:

  1. How can you help me?
  2. How often do I need to come in?
  3. What  will  my treatment cost?

After reviewing your health history, goals, and reviewing your physical examination, your Spine & Wellness Specialist will discuss recommendations and notify you if  your condition requires care with other providers. You will then be provided with the best treatment and wellness program for your needs.

Treatment

At the conclusion of the second appointment (Report of Findings), you can choose to  experience your first treatment. This may include spinal corrective adjustments, physical therapy, and/or soft tissue massage.  Treatment is interactive, so  you can express concerns about the different styles of treatment  anytime.

Wellness Programme

Prior to you leaving, your Spine & Wellness Specialist will suggest a programme to incorporate into your life outside of treatment. If you are in pain when you first come into our clinic, this may include: ice or heat application instructions, certain activities or positions to avoid, and at home exercises and/or stretches. If you desire, our wellness team will work with you to also create healthy habits and routines for your lifestyle. Every person is unique, therefore everyone requires an individualised wellness plan. The purpose of our programme is for you to achieve good spinal alignment, have a healthy diet, exercise, and maintain a positive mental state.
